Research Activities
Pattern Recognition Receptors based research investigating:- The Toll-like receptor (TLRs), RIG-like Helicase (RLHs) and NOD-like receptors (NLRs)
- Signal transduction pathways initiated upon recognition of both pathogen and endogenous TLR ligands
- Structure/Function analysis of TLR signaling mediators
- Negative regulation of these pathways to prevent chronic inflammation
- Pathogen immunomodulation of these pathways/receptors
